Brian has worked in the renewable energy industry since 2008. His primary experience encompasses wind/solar/storage in a developer and advisory capacity. He has collaborated with developers, landowners, financiers, and corporate clients within this space. He's a seasoned veteran transacting on Virtual Power Purchase Agreements (VPPAs), PPAs, wind/solar rights contracts, REC/Carbon Offset transactions, on-site solar, finance/tax equity, and more. Prior to joining New Stone, Brian served as Managing Partner for Sustainable Investors focused on renewable energy brokerage. He also worked at Kinect Energy Corporation (formerly World Fuel Services), a Fortune #70 global fuel service provider where he created, implemented, and managed the company's core renewable service offerings which are now deployed throughout the world. Brian is known as a subject matter expert in the industry, has helped develop and amend regulatory policies, published several articles, and spoken at many industry events.
Brian has worked with large Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers, Universities/schools, hotels/resorts/casinos, municipalities, airports, healthcare, fuel producers, and multi-national corporate organizations, among others. At New Stone, Brian focuses on the brokerage of renewable-related assets (wind, solar, storage, etc.), off-take agreements, RECs/Carbon Offsets, and on-site solar opportunities.
